Ocudox® with patented technology is a solution intended to support in the treatment of Blepharitis and the daily hygiene of eyelids and eyelashes.
Ocudox® cleans the eye lids, lashes and periocular skin and assists in removing debris and microorganisms which can cause irritation and ocular surface disease.

Throughout the day, we’re exposed to varying amounts of sun, wind, and dust.
Our eyes get fatigued adapting to all these changes and can become dry.

The eye responds to irritation with an eye itching reflex. This results in discharge which mixed with tiny dust particles and debris causes encrustation.

Use Ocudox twice a day to maintain the eye lids, lashes and periocular skin clean and reduce irritation.

Indications for use

Ocudox is an electrolysed solution intended to aid in the treatment and symptoms of blepharitis. Ocudox is used for cleansing the lids, lashes, and periocular skin of debris and microorganisms, which can cause irritation, and ocular surface disease. Can be used for cleansing minor cuts and minor burns.

Stability

Until opened, the stability of Ocudox is assured up to expiry date (see bottle for year and month of expiry YYYY MM). Upon opening, note the date on the bottle in the section “Date opened”. Stability of the solution is assured for up to 60 days after opening.

Handling

Ocudox is biocompatible for its indicated use. Non-irritating to human skin, eyes or throat, and is not a skin sensitizer. No especial handling precautions are required

Storage

Ocudox should be stored in its original container at 2°C-24°C. Prevent product from freezing. It is non-flammable

Mode of use

Wash hands prior applied Ocudox and remove any make-up or lotions around your eyes. Apply 2 sprays of Ocudox on a cotton pad. Close the eye and, using a horizontal motion, gently wipe the base of upper lid lashes at least 3 times. No rinsing is necessary.

REPEAT

1. Remove any make-up or lotions around your eyes.
2. Apply 3-4 sprays of OCUDOX™ Eyelid and Eyelash Cleanser to a cotton ball or make-up round.
3. Close your eyes.
4. Using a horizontal motion, gently wipe the base of all the upper lid lashes at least three times.
5. With eyes open, look up and wipe the base of the lower lashes with a horizontal motion at least three times.
6. Gently clean your lower lid from your nose to the side of your face.
7. With a new cotton ball or make-up round, repeat on the other eye.
8. Use twice daily or as recommended by your clinician.

Apply OCUDOX™ Eyelid and Eyelash Cleanser as a skin cleanser starting one week prior to intraocular surgery. Also, use OCUDOX™ Eyelid and Eyelash Cleanser to clean lid and lashes to remove encrustation and debris from lid margin.
