Indications for use
GramaDerm is a dermatological cleanser intended for use as an adjunct in the topical treatment of mild to moderate acne.
Directions for Use
GramaDerm is ready for use with no mixing or dilution required. Prior to cleanse the area or use the product, please carry out appropriate handwashing. After applying GramaDerm Solution cover the affected areas with a thin layer of GramaDerm Hydrogel and gently rub until it is evenly distributed. GramaDerm doesn´t need to be rinsed. Apply one to three times daily.
Stability
Until opened, the stability of GramaDerm is assured up to expiration date (see bottle for year and month of expiration YYYY MM). Upon opening, note the date on the bottle in the section “Date opened”. Stability of the unused GramaDerm is assured for up to 60 days after opening.
Treatment
Prior to cleanse the area or use the product, please carried out appropriate handwashing. Wash the affected area with water and soap. After applying GramaDerm Solution cover de affected areas with a thin layer of GramaDerm Hydrogel and gently rub until it es evenly distributed. Allow GramaDerm Hydrogel act for 5 minutes. GramaDerm Hydrogel doesn’t need to wash off; remove excess with a clean pad.
Handling
GramaDerm is biocompatible for its indicated use, non-irritating to human skin and is not a skin sensitizer. No special handling precautions are required.
Storage
GramaDerm should be stored in its original sealed container at ambient conditions. Store at room temperature and prevent product from freezing. It is non flammable. After use, the container should be closed again, before storing.

Scientifical studies
In a 12-week double-blinded, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, randomized clinical trial with GramaDerm™ vs benzoyl peroxide among 87 patients, the outcome was significant compared to the standard acne treatment with benzoyl peroxide.
Number of lesions
- In this pilot study, application of GramaDerm™ reduced prevalence of acne blemishes by 65% versus 54% for benzoyl peroxide .
- GramaDerm™ eliminated 98% of propionibacterium acnes in 60 seconds without inducing bacteria resistance.
- No adverse effects were associated with the use of GramaDerm™ while benzoyl peroxide was associated with stinging, bacterial resistance, erythema and drying or peeling of the skin.
